I learned my mp3 player isn't compatable with windows XP so instead of buying a new one right away I figured I'd just install 98. I'm not a computer genius so I can't figure out how to get into MS-DOS on start-up. I created a start-up disk but for some reason I can't get into my F:\ drive (my...
I admit I broke the law for about a week. I know it wasn't smart I just had to buy a new copy of windows. What i mean by free trial is the time before activation.
Well my friend is a tech genius, and I tired to use a key generator but failed. So I just used pro to buy my copy of home over ebay. Then my free trial of pro ran out so I thought I'd get rid of it.

Face it, I suck with computers compared to pretty much anyone on this forum. I come for help pretty much. I'm a failure, I don't know how to reformat it :(
We recently got a new PC, so we're giving our old Windows 98SE to our gransparents. Should I reformat it before I give it to them. Would that get rid of problems? All they need it for is a Word processor and to check there Juno mail. They don't have an internet connection.
