I'm pretty sure you'll need s resistor of some sort... I beleive they only need 3v or so...

I don't know of one for windows, but there's that one for DOS...that I forgot the name of... :P But either way, I feel quite sure a windows one wouldn't be quite as good as one that's DOS or whatever based, assing as windows takes up a good amount of resources...

Much of that does sound like a GPU error. I know I had almost like sparkles with my old 6800. I swapped the card out and everything was cool... Do you have something you could swap that card out with? Some older card, even PCI, to see how it works? Something else, RAM might be worth...

I used to have a program that would talk using the PC speaker, so as my computer loaded(autoexec.bat) I had it greet me :p

bill got it... I've gone to Europe a few times and carried my laptop, PDA, digicam, and camcorder. Each of those actually had auto-switching power supplies and all I needed was a converter for the plug.

I have a spare one, but I'm not all for selling it...sorry. I mean, make $20 or a have a fairly large drive handy that I could possibly use(which I might have a use for it very soon...) Now, if you need a case, I'm more willing to do combo deals ;P

Before you guys go all crazy over this you should read up on it... Apparently it only works with cache that's NOT directly on the processor! Older Pentiums, Slot processors, etc... In other words, it does jack for today's computers. Now, I have a PIII I plan to try this with, but unless you...
