The thing is each game is different and I guess you will want to run the game server as a dedicated Lan server (wich just means only peple on your network can join and none from outside)

What are teh specs of you r computers if they are to play any games at all they are going to have to be top of the line. If the computers are already hooked up to the internet vis a router \hub then you should be able to play games between them fine.
