I got this coworker's laptop at work, that won't boot up. It won't boot normally. Safe mode crashes at mup.sys, then blue-screens and starts over. Using the recovery console (with the Win CD) gets me onto the HDD, but when I try to disable mup, it says it can't find the registry entry...or any...

You need to find a NON-RECRUITER Navy person, and talk serious with them. I mean money, benefits, travel, pay scale, advancement, etc. The real advantage to the military is not pay or experience. It's structure. As in, structuring your life. The military will give you structure, if you're lost...

427 Cobra...was probably a new kitcar, but '67 model. Most likely wasn't stock, since the only stock Cobra engines I've seen are around 350-420hp. I have a friend in NY who has a Cobra that he's supped to 630hp, and Santa's was behaving similarly. Unfortunately I never got a chance to chat...
