My computer started taking a long time to load pages sometimes. This doesn't happen all the time. I'll click a thread in IE and after 10 sec. it indicates with NOT RESPONDING. I've ran the spyware etc plus the HP tune up but nothing seems to help.

My OS Vista. Intel D945PLNM Mobo, Intel Pentium D 915 2.80GHz CPU. All of a sudden the Floppy Drive quit working. It is listed as working properl in Device Manager. When I insert a disk in it saya to insert disk. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply but there is no such file on the disk.

Apparently that is the problem, but how do I load the correct drivers when the XP is loading and all I have is the cd that came with the MB. If I had the drivers on a floppy I could do it but I don't know how to get the right drivers from the cd to the floppy. Help

I have an intel MB with new SATA HD and I tried to Load XP abd it ask me to load the Floppy Disk that camke withe the MB, I got a CD with the new MB, so can anyone tell me how I can get the necessary Drivers so that XP will finish installing. Thanks for your help

I've tried switching the DVD Drive with the SATA Hd and still no go. When the sata drive is hooked up I can't get into the BIOS. When I undo the SATA drive and just use the IDE drive I get into the BIOs. I'm pretty close to trashing the MB and using an AMD setup. Thanks for you help

This is a SATA Drive. I put an old 20GB Maxtor Hd IDE in and it is recognized in the BIOS as Is the Sata DVD.
