Is there any different between 56k modem which work with AMD CPU and and intel CPU? I have A8N-SLI Deluxe mother board and I can't get the modem to work with this computer.. Modem work fine in Intel system

Is any different between AMD A8N-SLI supported modem and INtel? Does all 56k modem works the same way and can modem which work fine on Intel system work on AMD?

PCI_E x 16 solt has the video card and One PCI card has the modem.. I don't have anything else in the PCI card or PCI_E card solts.. One SATA hard drive and 2 CD drives.. 1 floopy... Power supply 450W !! Currently running memory TEST.. So far no errors.. new video card is on it way...

A8N-SLI Deluxe board does not even have AGP connector? it has 3 PCI slots 2 PCI_e x 16 and 2 PCI_e x 1
