Lookig for some reccommendations on a keyboard

Interesting. I'll make an image first to save myself pain haha. Is there a specific version, or just 'older'? I see 8.40 of the gaming software online, and my disk with the keyboard is version 3.03 of the g-series key profiler.

Need help picking out a cpu

If your computer says that you are running 3 gigs of ram when you really have 4, check to make sure that you actually have a 64 bit OS. 3 gigs is approximately the cap for a 32 bit OS, so that sounds like the issue there. As far as upgrading, I agree with OhSnapWord because that system is...

Lookig for some reccommendations on a keyboard

I got a Logitech g110 for Christmas. Wonderful keyboard, except like everything else Logitech makes that requires drivers, the software for it screwed up my system to the point I had to restore from a backup image (And here I am glad I keep two separate backup images at all times). Luckily, I...

    Looking for a nice router

Its for home use. Off hand I think we normally have 8 or 10 device connected. With our our current setup we start getting connection issues when it gets into double digits, and restarting doesn't always take care of it. So something robust enough to work in a small office would be great.

    Looking for a nice router

I've got a budget of about $400 for this. The key features are dual band (all our laptops support wireless n, but we still have some ipod touche and such that'll only do wireless g), QoS, gigabit, and VPN support. If there is something that offers more advanced traffic support than QoS can do...

    Random Chit Chat

It is a delicious drink with milk and eggs and is great with some whiskey or rum, depending on your liquor preferences.

    Treadmill

Yea, you should be able to just plug in 2 mouses, 2 keyboards and split the VGA signal, but beware that you are limited to about 10 meters of VGA before you'd need a booster amp to get the signal through. Also, you'd want to pay attention to the wireless keyboard range.

    Random Chit Chat

Yea, I've been busy with school and life and flying planes and women and the such. But I still manage to lurk every now and again. Just that technology has evolved so much since I last was keeping up with it I feel like a noob all over again looking at it. BUT. More important question. Does...

    VPN at home?

I run a Ubuntu server with SAMBA for data, so if that software would work with that setup, that would definitely be an option.

How do you deal with road bullies?

I usually lounge in the slow lanes with the big rigs. I've seen enough shit that I don't see any reason to speed more than 5 over, and frankly, Ohio state troopers are force to be recognized with. I don't wanna get pulled over by them. That said, when I do have asshats driving around me, I...

    VPN at home?

I'm want to get a VPN for my home network. I'd like to be able to connect, both to remote into various machines on our network to do any troubleshooting, and to be able to access our data server that we use for backing up files and all sorts of other stuff. So.... is it as easy as getting...

Common files between Ubuntu and Windows

I'm using Ubuntu more and more now, primarily because its much more stable (I'd get random hangups in 7, but not ubuntu), much less resource intensive, and runs MATLAB much faster. Anyways, I've currently duplicated my music, videos, pictures, and documents across both drives. This amounts to...

    Ubuntu on a usb stick?

d'oh, thanks edit- Ok, I followed those instrucitons, and when I used the program in the .ISO, I got this message: "SYSLINUX 3.82 2009-06-09 EBIOS Copyright (C) 1994-2009 H. Peter Anvin et al" and it froze. So I tried again. Same thing. I tried the other program they mentioned, and it...
