i am currently searching for a 17 inch LCD monitor with DVI. i keep coming across the word D-SUB when i'm lookin att hese monitors. IS D-sub the same thing as DVI??

yo man dell isn't 350 more, i dunno wat ur buyin. a dell wit 2.4 and a hp wit 2.4 are about same price. actually dell is cheaper. upgrading is a lot easier and it is also quieter. pm if u want some more detailed info on prices from dell and all junk.

is it a custom made comp?? cuz if it's not and it's like a hp or dell or watever all u have to do is call em and they tell u wat to do.

the cooler covers the ram. u can put on ramsinks anyway. it's better to put on ramsinks but i dunno wat u gonna do. if ur gonna overclock the hell out of it sure use ramsinks. but the cooler works wihtout ramsinks as well. do as u wish.

arctic cooler vga silencer is very good no u don' need ramsinks on ur memory.

i obviously knew dat, but i jus wanted to know if the dual channel would somehow get into the picture. not too sure on dual channel dat's why.

is one stick of 512 better than two sticks of 128?

eh. the 9700 does not suck. you are just comparing it to a card that is not within it's price range. the 6800 is 350 USD the 9700 is 180 USD nearly double the price. It's obvious that your gonna get better performance on 6800. If you just want the best freaking video card for gaming u can...

oh dat's not wat i meant. sorry for the confusion. i meant as in 500 core speed 1000 memory speed.

5700 ultra 500/1000 5900xt 450/780 9800 pro 380/680 kinda confused cuz as the price goes up , the speeds go down.

oh. i meant that the 5900's core and memory speeds were slower den the 5700. and that the 9800 pro's speeds are lower than both da geforce's. but u sure dat the 5900xt is better??
