i'm aware the "core temp" utility, but i'm wondering if there is a utility that can simulate the temp conditions of my processor under load. i'm about to upgrade my cpu cooler, power source and ram as well as the case fans and i'd like to see how it has helped my average and peak temps. thanks!

I'm going to build a 1TB external HD, mainly for music and photos. I will not be running any OS on it. Should I consider an external enclosure with a built in fan or will that not be necessary? Also, any thoughts on 1TB 3.5" HD choices? Thanks!

i'm looking into buying a xbox/ps3 style controller for the PC to play games like NBA Live and Madden. i'll stick with the keyboard for BF2 and COD. what are the preferred brands / styles of controllers for PC gaming? what should I take into consideration when choosing one? thanks!

Yep. That's what I use with the PC at my desk... along with a Yahama RX-V890, an M&K 12" sub and the Omega Claro + card.

It's hard to find exceptional speakers unless you have alot of $$, that's for sure. I know there are some decent values out there, but nothing that will compare to those Mk3s or the Lynnfields for the same money.
