    Well I'm gona let one comp with ubuntu. I was thinking right now that perhaps you have a problem with a file extension. Some iso files download as .rar (but they aren't); the reason is that you have enabled the 'don't show known file extensions', and therefore you can't see the .iso extension...

    Right now, I'm going to stop the fun of looking for drivers, and swap my linux Os for W98Se (Memphis), just to play with Dos (at least it doesn't need drivers)... EDIT: and...of course...Whistler for work...

    Running at 1.8 could be because 'cool and quiet' utility slows it automatically to run smoother, or a jumper on the motherboard should be set...

    Pentium 4 processors reduce it's life spectancy if you go over 70/75c. Even Semprons that run up to 90c, suffer from 'lower 90s'...

    768 Ram is fine. Your Celery should be kind of slow if it isn't Celeron D. You can speed up things adding a video card if you're running onboard video...
