I believe that the "gateway mt6821" came with vista.So... are you installing it for the first time or did you upgrade to windows 7? How to make a full system restore?
I want to make a full system restore portion, about 20gb of space. I have an OCZ Vertex 2 60gb SSD that has my OS on it, the thing is I dont want to put it on my SSD as it will take all of my space, i was wondering if it was possible to put it on my 1TB WD HDD and still be able to restore if...- pokher

SAMSUNG Spinpoint or Western Digital Black(dont get blue/green if you want performance) are also very good. Ive owned alot of Seagate Barracuda and never had a problem.- pokher

He is right that ram he suggested works great to, but alot cheaper. the system's ive built you, you could say there at the top of the line systems or very close. my signature below cost a little below 2k. if you go the rout of the i7 its going to cost more in ever department as in (mobo/ram/cpu) my first post had an asus mobo but i changed it to the msi 890FX which cost $29 less than the asus 890FX- pokher

aww damn did not see or over looked he was from canada. but the price are pretty much the same so this will give him a general idea. first i put the MSI 890fx. i changed the Mobo/CPU to the MSI 890FX/X6 1050T. thank you vinman46 i thought i put the x6 1050t but i guess not.- pokher

what about a PSU(power supply)? and you say you got ram, whats the name/specs. so i can see if it works with an AM3 board. cause an AMD CPU cant/want work in an intel mobo. whats your budget so i can point you in the right way.- pokher
