specifically, my problem is ... there is a file server and there are a lot of files on the server need to be shared ... however, the files are meant to be read by the "clients"...

well, as for the banners blocking ... it still presist as i disabled the options in PC-cillin ... as well as the pop-up blocker in IE ... by teh way, i have Google Toolbar with ad-blocker...

recently ... after i updated to SP2 and installed PC-cillin Internet Security 2005 ... many webiste started to show only text, most pictures won't show up ... whereas my Mac (sharing the same connection) can view them without any problem ...
well, some webpage won't even load ...
