yea i never used anything else except for ASUS i personally think they rock, never had one problem, so i would recommend ASUS def.

I leave mine on all day and shut it off almost everynight, and shutting it off clears the memory and Cache so windows wont slow down.

What kind of card, or on board chip is in it, I know with some you have to click force TV detection.

I would through XP on it...Windows 2000 is not a very good OS.

Are you going to be connecting it via DVI or VGA??

But you cant connect through remote desktop on the network because they all have the same IP adress so it will say your are connecting to yourself (that is using the one built in Microsoft) Im not 100% sure but i tried it before and that is what it says, Please correct me if im wrong.
