My dvd r/rw drive randomly stopped working a few weeks ago. Other people use my computer so I don't know if someone did something or what. It is the original drive that came with my computer, Gateway 500x.
The DVD drive is recognized by the computer, and it recognizes when I put a CD in it, but...
