I thought XP was the newest upgrade. Explain 2000?

I have a Windows Me system and when I go into My Pictures and try to print, the print tab is grayed out & will not print. How can I fix this?

I have a Hp952C printer for sale for anyone that has one and needs parts. Also will include a new black inkjet cartridge.
