I would be using Sony if the price point came down for the A7RII. As far as Nikon VS Canon there is no noticeable difference. You can argue all day about them but Canon in my opinion has better support and glass. The D810 has better dynamic range than the 5d3 but if you are exposing properly...

I shoot with a Canon 7D MkII on location and a 5D MkIII in the studio. My lenses of choice lately are the Sigma 18-35 1.8A on the 7DMkII and the Canon 100 2.8L on the 5D. But I use a 70-200 2.8L frequently as well.
