Well didn't work that's it then this piece of **** laptop dog going in the garbage and I am going to sue Alienware a word of advice never buy anything from Alienware now I have no computer at all what a f u king waste:mad:

Yup, already have all my important data saved to an external hard drive, so I guess I can go ahead and reinstall. I'll do that and let you all know how it went and if it fixed the issue

OK so I downloaded and ran all of those scans, and I am still having the same problem. Should I go ahead and reformat?

So if any of you have read my post about how my laptop has been acting up, everytime I run it on normal mode, the screen goes black, sometimes after a few minutes or so sometimes right away and won't even start up, I try disconnecting the ACadapter and running it that way, but that doesn't help...

what is happening i have to absolutely be in safe mode for it to work, otherwise the screen eventually just blacks out. keyboard is sometimes screwy too like ill be typing something and itll move and start typing at the beginning of the sentence or in between it without me clicking anything idk...

this laptop is a ****ing peice of **** im going to throw it in the ****ing garbage obviously nothing will help

Did all that, nothing. And I turned off the automatic shut offs on the power options too, and I am currently running it without plugging in the AC adapter because for some reason, plugging it in makes it shut down too, the screen just goes black. Also when I turned it on without the AC adapter...

hey i cleaned it out and it isnt doing it anymore and plus i did a scan there was a trojan i got rid of it so eiher it was the trojan or overheating but it's not doing it anymore so issue resolved no problem the problem is resolved :) thanks everyone
