Well, Linux most certainly is different than windows. It's quite the adjustment. However, I wouldn't necessarily say its hard. The terminal was fairly easy to learn, just memorization of the commands and syntax after all. Of course I only know the basics... but it's exciting learning new things...

I've tried installing the program cinelerra for this past week and I've hit an end. I'm running Fedora Core 5, and have tried with Yum, yet it has said it could not resolve the dependencies for Cinelerra. I'm getting started with video editing, and have done it frequently on a windows platform...
