I was wonder if there was any way to change the IP address for mine, or my mom's computer because we keep getting a "conflicting IP address" error and I checked the IP addresses for both the computers and of course they are both the same. Is there any way to change it?
I had that same exact issue when trying to start up my computer. Mine turned out to be a bad RAM stick issue. When I used a certain stick of RAM in my computer, I would get blue screen errors and my keyboard would only work for like a couple seconds, but when I used my good stick of RAM...
I tried opening the "Monitor Temperature Levels" section in nTune but the window that comes up is cut off (I think) and was wondering if this is the same as with anyone else who uses it. There's no way to expand the window, I've tried.
My core clock is running 500MHz stock but I like to bump it up just a little to 550-575 just for now since it's stock cooling but once I get my watercooling I'll just alot higher. I'll knock that bad boy all the way up to like 800 I think is the max.
I currently have the 8800 GTS 640MB

and it says in the description that the memory clock speed is 1600MHz and other people have said they overclocked it to 1800MHz+ but when I use nTune or RivaTuner, apparently my memory is only...
Yea it's just a little metal heatsink that obsorbs the heat from the chip just like a normal heatsink/fan but instead of having the fan passin air through to cool it, it has water passing over it to cool it
Yea I did try that and it didn't work. When I install the second stick in the second or third slot, neither work. The screen just comes up black with nothing on it.
Ok well everything runs fine still BUT I have a problem with the RAM now. I'm thinking the 2nd stick doesn't work or maybe I'm just not doing something right. I've currently only got 1GB(1 stick) installd in the first socket closest to the CPU and it works just fine but when I shut the comp down...
You should definately do that. That will increase the airflow alot! Plus will make it quieter cause you won't hear the air rushing through the holes, it will be going straight through with no blockage.
Well I went into the CMOS and the "Boot Priority" and the first boot item was labeled "Removable" which I have no idea what that was but I put the DVDROM as first and then the HDD second and the "Removable" third and now windows is installing and partitioning right now. Thank you so much for you...
Thank you! Doing this has worked so far and I've been able to get to the CMOS setup and the keyboard worked the whole time(PS/2) but now I don't know what to do from there. After I click on save and exit, it goes to a black screen with the little blinking cursor at the top left of the screen but...
