its not an erro at all, u only get this message wen u try to change the file extensions, the part after the dot (.) in ur file name. if u cant c the file extensions, go to folder options and uncheck the hide known fike extensions and u wil get all the extensions and try changing the name with...

the only way to turn off the beeps is to turn off the integrated speaker on the mother board, as far as i know.

hey sorry for the delay in replying with the solution. well i resolved the prob, n my computer is working fine. the prob was that my computer has a card reader, and the printer that i was trying to install also has a card reader, so there was a conflict betweeen these 2. wen i put the USB...

think i followed the same procedure, well i wil give it a try again. i wil try hooking to a different prot and see if it works, and try to uninstall the drivers from the device manager and try to install it again. any ways thanks for that help and wil get bak once i am done with that. thanks...

yes thats correct, it was working perfectly ok until i connected and installed the drivers, and wen i restarted the computer immediately after installing the drivers, the prob started. probably my computer really didnt like my printer....lol

the only usb device connected is the printer, and thats wen the prob started, after i installed the printer drivers.
