It's not booting from CDrom drive, for some reason it's bypassing it. Is the option beside the cdrom drive in the setup screen that gives option like first, second, third?

after the compaq logo goes away, do it ask to boot from cd press any key?

You may have corrupt media. Check to make sure your CD does not have any deep scratches on it. Go into setup, check you boot sequence. Make your cdrom first to boot. This is probable the problem, it doesn't see the media or media drive.

How do I create a Wndows NT boot disk from the CD? The computer I am putting NT on does not have a CD-Rom drive so, I am using a back pac to do the install which means I can't boot from CD. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
