either way i found vqemhqr under startup and disabled it and rebooted. The error message no longer comes up when windows starts

I have a new laptop, and recently, when i turn it on it makes a high shrieking noise. I think it may be from the microphone but it never made a sound like that before. When i mute the microphone it stops but even at its lowest volume setting, the shrieking still goes on. What can be the problem?
