That depends...does your motherboard support an upgrade to the processor? If it does, then a CPU upgrade would be better than more RAM. If it doesn't, then look into RAM or consider a new motherboard.

Adapter? The only adapter I can think of is the DVI to VGA adapter. The newer dual video cards have one VGA and one DVI adapter.
So, connect each monitor of each of connectors.

You will get different answers...bottom line nVidia and ATI are both great cards...it is a personal preference.
I love ATI. I have had bad nVidia as well as bad ATIs, but I seem to stick with ATI.
rpm is only one aspect to HDD how fast a HDD is. The other 2 are bandwidth and access time.
But yes, the 250GB 7200rpm is a good HDD for games. By this I know that 250 is either SATA or ATA, and the access time is about 8-10ms.
I usually play games and eat also, but I also clean my keyboard about twice a year. By taking it apart and putting it through the dishwasher.
