    Help with wireless config

Not quite sure about your problem. Be a bit more specific.

    anyway to get past this?

Yes, ask your system administrator for the password. And if he/she feels fit to provide with the password, then you are good to go. If not, then you are screwed. There are other ways, but that would be hacking and breaking an entrance which are both against the law.

    New Processor and MOBO?

That depends...does your motherboard support an upgrade to the processor? If it does, then a CPU upgrade would be better than more RAM. If it doesn't, then look into RAM or consider a new motherboard. Remember, upgrading equals money. Choose wisely.

    dual monitor help

Adapter? The only adapter I can think of is the DVI to VGA adapter. The newer dual video cards have one VGA and one DVI adapter. So, connect each monitor of each of connectors. Monitor #1 ----- Port 1 (might need adapter from DVI to VGA) Monitor #2 ----- Port 2 Turn on your computer and...

Yeah...2 totally different type of video cards. X700 is ONLY PCI-E, and 9800Pro is ONLY AGP.

    Western Digital 36Gb 10 RPM...or

RAID...more bandwidth. Example...(I really like this one). Two planes 727 and 747 both full of people and flying at the same time. They both reach their destination at the same time. Just based on flight time and people transported, which one is more efficient? The 747 because it carried...

    Ram for gaming PC?

TommyBoy, I would say that in the past but Alienware has done a lot to reduce their prices and keep the performance very high. Plus is comes with lots of software that someone putting together a new would have to do anyways. Since he has asked questions on every component, I thought I would...

    Ram for gaming PC?

For the money you are spending on components, I would buy an Alienware and get it over and done with. It will end up being creaper then buying everything from Newegg.

    Video card for gaming PC?

I haven't heard of Amigo Communication as a manufacturer. I would stick with ATI, Visiontek, Sapphire, MSI and ASUS, in that order. I have had VisionTek and I currently use made by ATI X800Pro. Make sure it is PRO!

    Hard drive for gaming PC?

Yes...ATA. Do you see Interface...IDE ATA100? Also...ATA costs around $175, if it was SCSI it would cost around $1800 - $2000, and I don't think most people are going to spend a couple grand on HDD. Hell, my video card was $400 and I thought that was high.

    Video card for gaming PC?

You will get different answers...bottom line nVidia and ATI are both great cards...it is a personal preference. I love ATI. I have had bad nVidia as well as bad ATIs, but I seem to stick with ATI.

    Hard drive for gaming PC?

rpm is only one aspect to HDD how fast a HDD is. The other 2 are bandwidth and access time. But yes, the 250GB 7200rpm is a good HDD for games. By this I know that 250 is either SATA or ATA, and the access time is about 8-10ms.
