You didnt read it properly, i said it WAS NOT dropped or knocked, it just stopped working for no reason. I also failed to mention that it started to work after putting a cd in the cd drive. And its the internal speakers

as title really, the laptop is about 1-2 years old i guess, sound was working fine before, and it wasnt dropped/knocked, it just randomly stopped working. Checked the sound options to see if any of the sliders are right down, but everything seems fine. Any ideas what is wrong?

Anyone know why this is? if i go to my mates house it always connects first time every time. Do i need to look at a setting in my routers settings page? if so which one? ive got a Dynamode router, theres loads of settings, not very user friendly

Ok my gf has just told me her pc has a virus, now a couple of days ago she downloaded limewire and downloaded loads of songs, so i think thats where she got it from. All i know is(because i dont see her until friday) is that its a worm and avast told her this, so im guessing avast has picked up...

Like in forums for example, if i scroll down to the bottom of the page and click something and think to myself, actually i want to go back to the previous page near the bottom again, it wont return to the bottom so ill then have to scroll all the way down again after clicking back

Ive recently started to use chrome and think its very good, but one thing annoys me a little, when your in a forum and your viewing a certain area on the site, when you click back firefox used to automatically return to the same position on the screen, where as chrome always returns to the top...

Sorry, my question was assuming the video is fully loaded and ready to go, and it still plays back laggy. I know it takes two or three times longer to load, but loading is not the problem for this guy

just a quick one, if i want to put open office(150mbs) onto a pc that cant get onto the internet can i do that? i.e download it on a pc with the net and put it on a cd? then install it on the pc without the net? will that work? Thanks
