Why have u stated not hawell compatible? and what do u mean it doing the same as the old one? what parts do the old one and new have in common?

so can you see the tv in the sound menu in control panel? if so select it and make it the default device now the sound will play through the tv.

yeah i agree with BK, you need to get a better GPU. and 1600Mhz ram.. Also if you built it yourself you'd save hundreds of pounds...

I'm having issues with youtube not playing vids properly. it'll play for a randow amount of time (anything from 1 sec to a min) but wont buffer or anything it just stops. Im using newest version of Google chrome. I done a google search an it seems other people do have this problem randomly...

yeah search around for the size and speed it recommends you should be able to get it pretty cheap. is it ddr2 or ddr3

you can upgarde the harddrive, it prob has a 5400rpm and you could get a 7200prm but not much point if there is nothing wrong with the drive, or you can get an SSD drive. You can probably upgrade the ram too. install and run this on the laptop http://www.crucial.com/uk/systemscanner/

nope, mine was plugged into and extension lead with built in fuse and the house electrics have fuses and trip switches.
