my neice has brought her advent 7110 laptop for me to look at as the screen is faulty.
when booting up the left side is cloudy and scrolling down pretty fast.
then the screen goes black with white lines running across.when windows actually loads the screen is still scrolling.
any ideas...
well guys i found the problem and i dont believe i never thought of it before
i turned of all my security BUT forgot about the windows firewall.
go on call me whatever you want i deserve it

think wireless port on router gone as someone near me has a belkin unsecured router and i can connect to it but not mine
when im connected to the unsecured router alls well
put in static ip and subnet is 255.255.255.0
dns 212.212.212.212
laptop connects to router strength is excellent it says but if i try the internet all i get is page cannot be displayed
and i cant access the router from the laptop
ive just reinstalled my pc and laptop using xp pro
i run through a belkin mimo router which works fine with my other pcs. since the reinstall tho i cant connect to the internet on either the laptop or pc (but can on the other systems)
when i check the ip address of both pc and laptop it says...
im using malwarebytes on my xp pro machine and it keeps popping up with the following message
malware bytes successfully blocked the following ip address,121.8.32.177
the ip address changes everytime it pops up
ive ran a scan and theres nothing infected it says but sometimes my internet doesnt...
