try this Can u type unsername as "administrator and leave the password space blank and try. If it does not work, then boot the machine in safe mode and change setttings for username.

Hi all My PC is Pentium I siemens. I am running windows 98 on it. Yesterday i worked on it then when i shut it down, it instead restarted. I actually reselected "shut down" not restart. The same problem continued until i just decided to turn power off. Help me solve the problem please

better get a new PC. Or the motherboard. Try to swap with a similar pc with the same hardware platform
