My bios failed cuz pc crashed ;)
1) I'm plugging it in the right one, the line-out
2) Already tried em both
3) Plain K8N-SLI
4) I already know ;)
5) I'm probably buying a new soundcard anyway, but I don't like the idea that I have failing audio on my motherboard. I'm not an average user...
Lol the problem is getting only weirder. When I plug my headphones or speakers into my microphone or line-in hole, and I enable UAJ automatic, and say it's a headset or speakers, and put the options of the UAJ automatic on the settings wich I just described (so for example if I plugged in my...
Maybe a power problem then, try connecting another power supply only for testing (don't build it in). Maybe another reason could be that the signal gets interrupted by other devices that are touching the usbwiresonboardyourmotherboard (don't know what theyr called). Try updating BIOS else i...
A good way to cool your videocard is by buying a VGA cooler, u can get them at your local pc shop. I suggest buying something from Zalman, they have very good quality.
It isn't hard changing this plate. Though, if your laptop is rather old, it could be that they don't sell it anymore in the pc-shops. Then I suggest you look on ebay or try searching on google if they still get sold. To change the plate, just open up your laptop, use a screwdriver to screw your...

@theproblem: Try reïnstalling BF2 and ventrilo, and be sure to get the latest patches. Is this only happening while you combine BF2 with ventrilo, or if u use BF2 with other...
Try installing new codecs, or try connecting another videocard (from a friend or so) and if that doesn't work try connecting another monitor (maybe from that same friend).

Try installing the correct USB2 drivers from your motherboardcd, or download them at www.driverguide.com.
Maybe you could check if your USB ports are good connected with the cables.
You can try changing the battery, but if the BIOS-update wasn't a success, I advise you looking for a newer version or if you tried that one the downdated version of that.
