Is your router set up to only lease a certain number of IPs? I ran into that problem before, I had set up my router to allow only 2 IPs available at a time for my computer and my wifes computer, I forgot about it until my daughter got a computer and was unable to obtain an IP.

Are you on a work computer that is on a domain or home computer? Are you using static IPs or DHCP?
