No parts were upgraded with vista. All the parts have been (and still running fine in XP) for a year. Since then i've opened and checked everything just incase. Once had the graphics card fan stop and i'd get that screen while loading any games from overheating.

Duxtape - Tried using an archived driver, didn't help. I let windows updater take a spin at picking one and it just tried installing the one i was already trying to install.

What if you have a problem that might be software or hardware and you have no clue what is wrong, then where to put it, together makes it easy.
Eg video cards, might by driver(software) or Heat (hardware)
