The topic of this thread IS kind of misleading, given the choices in the poll. MySQL/MSSQL are databases.:mad: XML is a markup language, not a programming language.:mad: MY personal favorite and one I have been using since 1998 is Java, and all it's aspects (JSP's, Spring, etc.).

Apache http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi Messed with it and PHP about four years ago. Got to read all the help texts to learn how to set it up right. Worked great for me. I was on cable modem (semi-static IP) at the time and served pages from home to work.
