Esine is right, with a good OS you shouldnt have to defrag anymore. Defragging was for 95 and 98 when software was buggy, i really dont think it helped then eaither. It is just one of those tools that m$ wants you to think helps, in all reality it doesnt. But yes, that would be a halarious SNL.

dyanmic changes everytime a modem is rebooted. Mine does anyway. The only thing that doesnt change are the first 2 octets. So if someone was to ban me, they could ban me with X.X.*.*, but they would be banning everyone in, and around, the houston area. Not to say ill ever be banned though :)

*sigh* It is a myth that your ip address is unchangeable. I dont know about the little small town ISP's you guys got but here in texas you get a new IP everytime you reboot your modem. It would take to much man power to assign everyone an ip address, that is a laughable idea on a big city ISP.

Hmmm - Try using the network wizard on one of the machines and then go around and install them on the other machines. I know this isnt the most technical way of handeling it but it is the easiest and it works 85% of the time.

install it on the computer - no you wouldnt need another firewall, zonealarm does a pretty good job of firewallin'.
