thx for the posts i actually found a mobo with 2 ide ports :) out of luck some how.

ok right now my computer is useing 2 IDE cables one for my disk drives and the other is for my HDDs. Im in the middle of buying a new mobo and i cant find one with 2 IDE ports. Is there anything i need to do to change my HDDs from IDE connection to SATA? And if i do can i use the same HDDs i...

PCChips M810DL is the name of my mobo. Are the screw holes the same for each mobo or what?

Ok. I got this computer from my girlfriend and it has a rather old mother board. I talking it has 2 ddr sdram slots and its processor runs at 1.3 GHz. I am hoping to put a new mother board/CPU (maybe the XFX nForce 680I LT) in and im worndering if i have to do anything software side to it or can...
