A good air cooler is usually same or better than water cooling. I recomend a Thermaltake Big Typhoon with some AS5.

Integrated Heat Spreader. The thing on your cpu, aluminum. And taking it off is a piece of cake, I have done it like 10 times, its really easy.

I got my 2.60ghz P4 Northy to 3.7ghz with my Big Typhoon cooler. It was Prime95 stable for 4 1/2 hours, then it errored out.

In my eperience the Big Typhoon beats every other cooler, the Zalman CNPS 7700alcu loses to it by 6*C, the Thermaltake Silent Tower loses by 7*C. The Big Typhoon is a monster, if you put an after market 120mm fan and some as5... That BT will pwn anything.
