If i cant hit 3.0ghz, then it probably wont be my cooling limiting me. It just sucks the high probability of not hitting 3.0ghz on my clawhammer. I dont think i can ever be happy with a stock processor, nor a moderately OC processor anymore. What has OC done to us....

Dale, thats nonsense. Its a proven fact Venice are AMD64 best OC. To be honest Nubius, i think at this moment i would rather have a 3200 Venice then my clawhammer. I just hope when i get my WCS finished, with a few extra tricks im going to throw in. I'll be able to hit 3.0ghz. Then i'll be happy.

All i can suggest is make sure you get out there and learn. If your into computers, along with OC. Start reading about computer components. Learn how common computer components work, and what they do. Thats the very basic, you also want to be aware with specs. Such as how fast computer entities...

Thats alot of OC on a clawhammer. I have that same processor too. Mine was stable at 2.77ghz, at 2.8ghz everything turned sour. Never tryed to stablize it or anything. By that time my AV8 temp sensor was giving me false readings. But 247mhz seems a little low. At 234mhz my 4000 hit 2.8ghz...
