Open your computer and take off the hard disc, so use other computer with Win 2000 or XP and make a backup. ...Do you know how to install a hard disc in a computer?

Relax... With other computer, copy yours important files and make a backup, then format the hard disk and install Win Xp Pro. (try to get professional corporated version ;) ). That I would do in your case.
