Where do I find a power connector for this??

It's a standard SATA drive, it uses a SATA power connector. Your local computer shop should stock a 4 pin Molex-to-2-SATA power "Y" adaptor, since it looks like your power supply doesn't have SATA power leads.

    Mac RAM?

OK, lets go back to the basics. First of all, there are two series of iMac G3's The Rev A - D machines have a tray-loading CD drive, and have speeds from 233 MHz to 266 Mhz to 333 MHz (always ending in a 3 or a 6). These machines take PC66 SODIMMs and will not take high density modern...

    eMac and PC network

Alternative: just spend $35 and get a wired router. That way you don't have to leave the PC on all the time in order to get on the net with the Mac. Arguably it's more secure also, because your hardware firewall is outside of your PC. Thanks Trevor CanadaRAM.com

    Powerbook 150 Problem

It's almost certainly not a software problem, as there is no software driver necessary for the trackball. These early Powerbooks were notorious for breaking a small plastic part inside the trackball mechanism. I would simply locate an ADB mouse and use that. Thanks Trevor CanadaRAM.com

    Laptop RAM Compatability

You have 256 Mb in one socket, and one empty socket. 256 MB RAM is really not enough, you should definitely think of another 256, or even better a 512 Mb or 1 Gb module. The machine will take a maximum of 2 Gb RAM if you use 1 Gb modules. In particular, you will need PC2700 SODIMMs. The...

    Upgrading ram, help greatly appreciated

The combination should work fine. There's no indication that your mobo supports Dual-channel, so you don't have to match pairs of RAM (it only has 2 sockets in any case) Good plan to use the manufacturer's configurator to check compatibility with your motherboard. The 1 Gb Kingston chip is a...

Upgrading memory on a dimension 9100

OK, your Dell 9100 (just got one last week myself) has 4 memory sockets. While you could install RAM singly, you need matched pairs for Dual-Channel access. The machine takes either 533 MHz or 667 MHz modules, but if you mix them it will run all modules at the slower speed, so there's no point...

In a little bit of a debate :-/

The stock cooling system shoud be entirely adequate for the processor. Liquid cooling is only significant if you plan to overclock and generate a bunch of excess heat. If not, forget it. Put in an additional low-RPM chassis fan or two and be happy.

    Oem?

Careful with that OEM, Eugene. OEM hardware ususlly comes with less of a warranty or no warranty. Would you want that 5 year warranty on the Raptor or Barracuda drive? Damn straight you would. Pay the extra on hard drives and CPU's definitely. As mentioned, depending on the product an OEM...

    ibook upgrade question?

You can go to a maximum of 640 Mb RAM in this machine, 128 mb is built in. and there is one socket that will take a 512 Mb SODIMM. The hard drive is a 2.5" IDE 9.5mm mechanism. 12mm tall mechanisms will not work. Replacing the hard drive in the iBook G3 is difficult. Don't attempt it unless...
