No Messed up. just FYI i HATE Apple. (no affence) (and bad speller) just way to user friendly and everything i use a computer for needs windows or linux. Mac's just dont have any programs that i would use. And for that i dont do lots of reasearch on the mac's. but i put it to be fair.
did you try editing the boot loader? in vista (supposing it is the same) go to my controle panel, system, advance, and startup and recovery then hit edit. copy and past the last line which should look something like this.
Paste it below that line and change the partition(1) to partition(2) or 3...
