vista is actually much more stable than xp, the aero design can be turned off if you have low specs. its also more secure and connectivities are better. i really dont know why people are dissing it. im running vista is its been great. had a few problems to begin with but all has be solved.

i think you dont need to be fancy, the x530s are real real cheap 5.1 but not cheap on quality of sound. or the x540 if you want different look. good buy.

for lcd i would actually suggest the samsung 226bw, 2ms, 3000:1, hdcp. just dont have usb and other pluggies. yes its glossy sexeh too.

already got it, like probably a thousand others with almost identical spec. e6750 ds3r mobo 22" samsung 226bw 2gig kingston 800 750gig hd nvidia 8800gts coolermaster 500w same same... good board though, ddr3 should kick in later.
