It shows up in Devices and Printers as ASMT1153E, but it doesn't show up in File Explorer. It's a self built external with a Mushkin 1TB SSD and a NexStar CX case.

Well, considering that the Asus comp is no longer available, the answer is clearly no. But, the old comp has WIN8 on it so... Yes, yes it is. Even an unavailable computer is better than a WIN8 comp!

I generally overshoot a bit what consider just barely necessary to get the current job done. It may cost a bit more, but you'll have some room to grow in the case of the unforeseen.
