Ok I did what you said and the problem is still there :/ , I didnt run the check again because the laptop didnt even let me do it. when the chkdsk /r finished it restarted, I inserted my password and a few seconds later the laptop freezed on a screen saying Intel....(something else) has detected...

Hello This morning as I woke up, I wanted to play some FIFA 12 on my laptop. As soon as it booted up, I entered my password as usual. When Windows brought me on the desktop, an error appeared saying that "Windows has detected a hard disk problem" and it gave me 2 options 1. start the backup...

I'd suggest you to check your sata ports and try on the SATA2 as well. Check whether your DVD drive is working properly. Try to put the boot priority on the DVD drive.

Try cleaning some dust on the ram (if any) or look if you placed the processor correctly. Does the system produce any beep sounds? or noises? for the system to be able to produce a beep you need to have an internal speaker connected to the motherboard.
