Hey guys i found an awsome deal at a store of corsiar value select rams. I gonna replace my old ram to the new corsiar ones. I only have 2 slots of ram. What do think I should get 2 sticks of corsair ram or 1 stick of 1gb ram and then upgrade another 1gb later? MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hey guys, I have 2 512MB of Kingston Value Ram that I just bought. I currently have a Compaq computer. It has 512MB of RAM. Do I replace the Old Ram and just POP in the new Ram? Or Do i have to do some things in the BIOS. Im new in Computers :D

What if it doesn't work?

I think I got one of those Compaq recovery tools cd. Then I can install the new parts and if the parts wont work, then I can use the recovery cd to restore the hdd, and then it will be all fine. Is that correct??
