is it true that both 64 bit and 32 bit come on the vista cd and you can choose which version to install?

yes for the retail version but if you buy OEM its only one or the other.

over the 64bit argument. almost all new processors out nowadays are 64bit. they problem is the 3rd party corporations are lazy and dont want to spend time and money teaching thier programmers to code 64bit.
i think if M$ really wants 64bit to work they need to drop 32bit all together. and tell the industry, from now on operating systems will be 64bit, deal with it.
they have the weight and power to do that. but i doubt they will
