Trying to figure out how to play Play list files on media player classic, but after configuring the program it would just say "failed to render the file"
Anyone achived this?
Thanks

I dont think Media Player Classic can read the playlist files from WMP10 or 11. They are totally different formats.

actually it can, but i'm having a hard time putting it to work.
Does anyone has any suggestions?

Is there any particular reason you aren't using the new, non-classic, version of Windows Media Player? It would solve your problems quickly.

the main reason is that you cant control the aspect ratio.
Do you know any programs that play play list files and you can control it?

MPC is the best video watcher around.

it can read m3u playlist but not .pls .axs or .wpl (WMP) playlists. change your playlist to m3u. open it in wmp then hit file, save now playing list as, then pick the m3u extension.

i tried your suggestion to save to m3u but i only had luck with an audio stream not a video one.
Have you achived playing a video stream on m3u?
