I don't have the best PC, so I don't have much CPU. DDVDataCollector.exe Takes just about half my CPU. I checked this in the task manager, but if I choose to cancel the process will my computer be fine?

Try to verify this before you do it, but I think if you just stop the process, it shouldn't do permanent damage to your PC. The process may restart on it's own, or you may have to restart the PC itself to restart the process. Sounds like you might also want to consider expanding RAM.

Sounds like it maybe related to something Dell? Do you have a Dell PC? if so, did you create your system restore discs yet? That may be what it's related to.
