Would a longer hd15 vga cord dmage video quaility?

Just what the title says. I need to have like a 15ft extension for a 5 ft cord for a lcd projector and I was wondering if it would work okay.

ok thanks. I was thinking it might not work good because the signal would get weaker as the cable gets longer.
