Looking to buy a 2gig dual channel memory kit by corsair for my amd xp3200+ system. Which one should I buy???

Neither......why exactly do you even need 2gb.....1gb is more than enough unless you're doing some high end 3d rendering or something which I doubt it considering the CPU you have......beyond that those LED's are a joke.

Sounds like you aren't planning on OC'ing either....

Theres a 1gb of some good cheap RAM, and when I say cheap I mean solely in price, not quality of the sticks...

if you REALLY want 2gb then personally I'd go for something like this:

If you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO HAVE one of those two choices, then you might as well go with number 1 since it has tighter timings....however, timings of 2-2-2-5 really don't offer substantial performance gain over 3-3-3-8 so either one will run about the same speed in terms of you actually noticing performance, but the price difference is minimal so you might as well go for choice #1

screw corsair, everyone goes with them because that's what everyone is 'comfortable' with because they whore their name out....that TwinMOS kit I linked is a good brand, a name trusted for OC'ing, even though he won't be doing that chances are and is about $30 cheaper
