I have an old laptop (IBM Thinkpad 380d) which has no USB. I would like to use USB on it. Is there any type of card or adapter I can use to be able to have USB support?

Are you sure you don't have USB ports already? I've been tooling around the IBM website looking for addons to your laptop (your specific model) and many of them use a USB interface.

But if you're sure that you don't have them, you could get a docking station, but that is kind-of spendy

For other accessories or if you want to look further, here's the IBM website for upgrades to your system.
