updated sound card drivers

Do pci sound card typicaly update their drivers? I have the audigy 2 platinum, all i have ever installed are the one from the cd, are there updated ones out there?

Yes, www.creative.com You should update your drivers to the latest stable release as soon as they come out. Most places have alert groups you can add yourself to (email) so you are notified when new drivers are avalible. It's the third most important thing next to make sure that winblows is updated, and directx is also up to date
