I have a couple of questions. I just got a brand new 20" flat screen tv. Will damage occur if I have it hooked up to my computer alot. Also when I have It hooked up, does my card have to work double time just to put the same picture on a different screen??
Also does it work double time to "extend" my screen.

When I mean double time, does it use up more then normal GPU cycles.

It won't put any stress on your card if you hook it up to more than one monitor. As long as your video card supports dual monitors (or if it's got an s-video out socket or whatever it's called), you should be fine...

Ya, you are still using your video card for more purposes than just one monitor. Yes, more GPU cycles, but nothing noticable. It wont have to work extra hard to put an image up on the tv either. The extra 'stress' will not even be noticable. The video card probably dosent even realize that it's working harder, it's that small of an increase.
